First Post - Here goes nothing!!!

Just got the site up and I am posting my first post to this site. I hope to add more content shortly. After trying several different CMS systems I finally decided to try WordPress. I will say I am amazed at how fast and easily I have been able to get a site up and running. With just a little bit of work I am ready to start publishing my thoughts and observances to the internet community on software engineering and geography as well as all things geek.
There are still some static pages I need to put together such as a link page for articles I have published elsewhere. Currently only Code Project has a slot in the blog role and I hope to eventually expand this. Other things I need to do is include a more advanced RSS manager which will allow me to split my RSS feeds by conceptual categories.
Well, my first post of many and still more work to get things together here. Maybe i will add some photos. Feel free to comment on things that could be improved.
