Election Night With CNN - Now With Holograms!

In the beginning CNN had John King and his Magic Map. Now, they have trumped the magic map and taken news reporting technology to another level using holographic technology, real world “Help Me Obi-wan Kinobi You’re My Only Hope” holographic technology! Embeded video after the jump, you have to see it to believe it!
It was amazing to see Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper interview CNN reporters covering Barak Obama or John McCain result parties, appearing as if they were in the studio, just like Star Wars! Imagine the holograms from star wars and what you get is CNN’s newest wonder-toy. Right now this technology does seem a little gimmicky, but it was definately really cool to witness. I can’t honestly explain in-depth how this technology works but I know it uses 44 cameras and 20 computers that provides 360 degree data of the person and something to do with a trailer and a chroma key screen.
Pretty Cool Eh…..
